Dear Customer,

As the world adjusts to a challenging and rapidly changing reality, providing in-depth, comprehensive content continues to be our top priority. To that end, we wanted to share with you some of the things we are doing in response to the current environment.

For Lifelong Learners

We are making content that may be of benefit to the general public available for free. Please visit TheGreatCoursesDaily.com for free articles, videos, interviews, and more, including the entire course An Introduction to Infectious Diseases and the video Coronavirus Outbreak: What You Need to Know.

As we monitor the news and the various developments of how COVID-19 is impacting the world, we will continue to bring you relevant content to help inform, enlighten, and understand the world around us and to counter mistruths and rumors.

We will continue to produce as much new content as possible under the travel and work restrictions. We are monitoring our supply and distribution chain to ensure our products can still be purchased and shipped. Should we face any interruptions, we’d like to remind you our content is always available through digital downloads, through our partners—including Comcast, Amazon, Roku, and Audible—and as streaming videos on The Great Courses Plus.

On a special note, all Comcast Xfinity X1 subscribers will have access to the Signature Collection of The Great Courses for free for 30 days—from March 20th until April 19th.

For Students and Professors

We have been working diligently with educational institutions and our professors to provide free access to our content for students while schools are closed.

Through a partnership with Kanopy, 1,800 university libraries will have access to more than 230 courses for free for 30 days. We are also working with a college- and university-based learning-management system to provide millions of students with six months of free access to over 100 courses.

We’ve been in close contact with our professors to provide them and their institutions with access to the courses they led, as well as access to a wide collection of other courses to help them navigate the challenges of moving their classrooms online.

We are grateful to be in a position where we can continue to provide digital content that is relevant, informative, and helpful given these uncertain times. We genuinely hope you can find understanding and comfort in learning during this difficult time.
